Cricket West Indies (CWI) has officially announced that the West Indies Women’s team will embark on a tour to Pakistan, engaging in a series of three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and five Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from April 18 to May 3, 2024.
The ODIs, scheduled for April 18, 21, and 23, hold particular significance as they contribute to the ongoing ICC Women’s Championship (2022-25), where the West Indies Women aim to secure direct qualification for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
The upcoming tour marks the return of the West Indies Women’s team to Pakistan since their victorious tour in November 2021, where they clinched victories in all three ODIs.
Following the ODI Series, an exciting five-match T20I series will ensue from April 26 to May 3, offering both teams valuable competitive cricket to refine their skills and strategies ahead of the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

CWI’s Director of Cricket, Miles Bascombe, emphasized the tour’s importance in the team’s quest for automatic qualification to the 2025 Cricket World Cup, highlighting the significance of players emerging from regional tournaments and the return of the team captain from a successful Women’s Premier League campaign.
The West Indies Women’s team will commence their preparations with a one-week training camp in Dubai from April 6 to 14 before heading to Karachi for the tour.
The schedule for the West Indies Women’s tour to Pakistan includes pre-tour preparation training in Dubai from April 6 to 14, followed by matches at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi starting from April 18 with the ODIs and continuing with the T20Is from April 26 to May 3.
