At the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Cricket West Indies (CWI) in Antigua, President Dr. Kishore Shallow introduced resolutions for governance reforms recommended by the Wehby Report.
While some resolutions did not secure the required majority, President Shallow remains committed to strengthening CWI’s governance structure.
President Shallow expressed optimism, stating, “While it is disappointing that some resolutions did not find favor with the majority on this occasion, I remain committed to ensuring that CWI’s governance structure is always at its most robust.”
The Wehby Report
Derived from the Wehby Report, these resolutions aimed to enhance the integrity and effectiveness of CWI’s governance. President Shallow emphasized their importance, stating, “It is imperative that we continue our efforts to enact these reforms for the betterment of West Indies cricket.”
Affirming his commitment to positive change, President Shallow declared, “Our effort toward improvement on all fronts continues unabated.” He pledged to engage rigorously with stakeholders to navigate the governance reform process.
The AGM boasted a full quorum, with shareholders from various regions in attendance, showcasing the importance placed on CWI’s governance reforms.
