In Group A action, Cuba secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Belize at the Estadio Nacional in Managua, with Aniel Casanova’s 12th-minute strike leveling them with host nation Nicaragua at the top of the group.
Meanwhile, the British Virgin Islands (BVI) secured their second win with a 3-1 triumph over Anguilla, courtesy of Azarni Callwood’s hat-trick.
Group B witnessed Guyana’s first victory as they edged Turks and Caicos Islands 2-1, while El Salvador claimed a decisive 3-0 win over Suriname.
