The series concluded with West Indies securing a 3-2 victory, thanks in large part to the excellent spin bowling of Motie and Hosein, who played pivotal roles in restricting England to a total of 132 runs. Hosein’s impressive figures of two for 20 from four overs propelled him to a career-high ranking of fourth, surpassing Sri Lankan bowlers Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana.

Motie, who took three wickets for 24 runs in the match, made a significant leap in the rankings, climbing 75 spots to enter the top 100 at 91st place. Other West Indies bowlers who featured in the series, including Alzarri Joseph and Jason Holder, held rankings of 19th and 26th, respectively. However, no other West Indies bowler from the series appeared in the top 100 rankings.

High rankings

In terms of batting, former West Indies white-ball captain Nicholas Pooran and opener Brandon King achieved high rankings during the series, with Pooran ranked 12th and King 13th in the ICC T20 batting rankings. Captain Rovman Powell, who reached a career-best 23rd ranking during the series, is currently ranked 30th.

Additional West Indies batsmen in the top 100 include Kyle Mayers (36th), Johnson Charles (51st), Sherfane Rutherford (71st), Shai Hope (89th), and Shimron Hetmyer (98th).
