Caribbean Airlines has announced the launch of its new service to Guadeloupe, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to enhancing regional connectivity.
The new route, which operates four times per week via St. Lucia and Dominica, is expected to create seamless travel opportunities and foster collaboration across the Caribbean.
The addition of Guadeloupe caps a year of ambitious expansion for the airline. In 2024, Caribbean Airlines extended its network with new services to Puerto Rico, Martinique, and now Guadeloupe. The airline also introduced flights between Ogle, Guyana, and Suriname, expanded its regional and international schedules, and is preparing to relaunch its Fort Lauderdale to Kingston route.
Garvin Medera, CEO of Caribbean Airlines, highlighted the significance of the Guadeloupe launch, stating, “At Caribbean Airlines, our theme of ‘Welcome Home’ reflects our vision of uniting the Caribbean and beyond. This new service to Guadeloupe strengthens our commitment to building bridges across the region for the betterment of our people, culture, trade, and education. Whether for business, leisure, or family visits, our network is designed to make every journey seamless and welcoming.”
Medera also noted that the airline’s latest expansion reaffirms its dedication to fostering unity and cultural exchange throughout the region.
Guadeloupe, known for its rich Creole culture, lush landscapes, and iconic landmarks like La Soufrière Volcano, is now more accessible than ever through Caribbean Airlines. The new route links the French Caribbean island to St. Lucia, Dominica, Trinidad, and the wider airline network, opening gateways for exploration and cultural exchange.
Alain Bièvre, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Guadeloupe’s Maryse Condé Airport, praised the partnership, saying, “Expanding our regional network is a priority for us. Caribbean Airlines opening up the southern islands to our butterfly archipelago is great news. We look forward to building a strong relationship with Caribbean Airlines and strengthening connections within the Caribbean.”
The airline’s carefully scheduled flights ensure convenient connectivity for passengers across its extensive network, solidifying Caribbean Airlines’ role as a leader in regional travel.
