Opting to bat first, the Red Force faced early setbacks but found stability through a valiant unbeaten innings of 93 from Amir Jangoo. Despite the team crashing to 27 for four and then 83 for seven, Jangoo’s determined effort steered the innings, with crucial partnerships alongside Bryan Charles and Anderson Phillip.
Responding to Red Force’s total, the Pride initially appeared strong at 84 for one before encountering a slide triggered by left-arm spinner Khary Pierre. Three quick wickets saw the Pride stumble, ending the day trailing by 73 runs.
