The new service will operate three times a week, providing travelers with a fast and efficient way to travel between the two destinations. Flights will depart from Anguilla’s Clayton J. Lloyd Airport (AXA) on Thursdays at 9:00 AM, and from San Juan’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) at 4:00 PM. On Saturdays and Sundays, flights will leave Anguilla at 1:00 PM and depart from San Juan at 4:00 PM.

Operated by Freedom II Bermuda, the fleet includes the Embraer 170 aircraft, a modern jet with a capacity of 64 passengers. The aircraft offers a smoother, faster experience, reaching an altitude of 30,000 feet, which allows it to fly above clouds and weather systems, ensuring a comfortable journey.

With competitive fares starting at just $299 per flight segment, including taxes, this route presents an affordable travel option for vacationers and residents alike. The service is especially beneficial for Anguilla’s residents who require quick access to medical specialists, supplies, and other essential services in Puerto Rico.

Jeff Cole, Director of Operations for Charter Air Direct, expressed enthusiasm about the new service. “We are thrilled to arrange direct jet charter flights from San Juan to Anguilla,” Cole said. “We selected Freedom II Bermuda for its commitment to safety and operational excellence, ensuring a smooth and worry-free experience for all passengers.”

Freedom II Bermuda is certified by independent aviation safety organizations including WYVERN, ARGUS, and IS-BAO, providing passengers with peace of mind.

We look forward to working closely with Charter Air Direct and Freedom II Bermuda as we continue to grow the travel industry in Anguilla.”

Passengers will enjoy a comfortable experience aboard the modern, fuel-efficient aircraft, with the added perk of complimentary “French Bubbly” served during the flight. Each passenger is allowed one checked bag and one carry-on item.

Charter Air Direct is committed to expanding travel options throughout the Caribbean. As the service grows, additional routes are expected to connect even more destinations in the region, further enhancing air travel options for Caribbean travelers.
