The honorees will be celebrated at the upcoming Diaspora Awards Ceremony as part of holiday festivities, with the date and location to be announced soon.

This recognition program celebrates Jamaicans who have made a significant impact on their communities and supported Jamaica’s development. “It is fitting when we recognize our local unsung heroes, celebrating stories of vision, courage, and accomplishments,” Consul General Mair stated.

Nomination forms are available on the Consulate General’s website, www.jamaicacgmiami.org, and must be submitted by Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Submissions can be emailed to info@jamaicacgmiami.org or mailed to the Consulate General of Jamaica, 44 West Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33130.

Nominees may be recognized for contributions in areas such as law, healthcare, public service, philanthropy, social services, business, youth leadership, the arts, and education.
